AIRPORT CONTRACTOR APPOINTED
ENGINEERING giant Bechtel, which is behind major airport upgrades in London, Dubai and Hong Kong, will oversee construction of the $5.3B Western Sydney Airport. Australian companies Lendlease and CPB have been awarded the early earthworks contract, with bulldozers set to be on site "before the end of the year, according to the federal government".

VAUXHALL INN SOLD FOR $40M
THE Redcape Hotel Group has purchased the Vauxhall Inn Hotel, in Granville, for a reported $40M, from Sydney-based fund Bondi Asset Management, which acquired the hotel in 2016 for $27M.
