WHILE it would be” highly beneficial” for a quality theme park to be established in Penrith and the tourism and jobs benefits it would bring, Penrith City Council said it did not have the expertise, capacity or funding to undertake a comprehensive feasibility study for a specific theme park.

Boom times for GWS housing approvals

THE Liverpool, Parramatta and The Hills local government areas accounted for the highest number of housing approvals in Western Sydney for the period July-December 2013.

PREMIER Barry O’Farrell told business leaders last week that the Government will relocate more than 3,000 public service jobs to Parramatta and Western Sydney.
