Keys to health and energy

With all the distractions in today’s society, it seems that the basic foundation of health is further from reality than what we would like.

With all the diet fads, exercise programs, gyms and infomercial and machines out there, combined with everyone’s “professional” opinion being so different from each others, what are we to do with all this confusion?

Based on my research, trial and error, and countless clients that have come to see me for health consulting, weight loss and fitness programs I have come to realise that the simplest solution is often the best solution.

In saying that, I believe that there are three key principles to health. When followed, they simply cannot be beaten. Best of all it is something that we all have within us right now. We don’t have to reach out for it from someone else, or somewhere else, it’s right here within us now as you read this article.

The first of the three keys to health and the most obvious is FOOD. It’s important to understand that not all food is created equal.

There are very high quality foods like your organically grown fresh produce which is free of genetic modification, pesticides, fungicides, and all the other nasty modifications that seems to be happening with our food supply these days.

The best way to look at food is this: you are a living organism. The planet is a living organism. You are of the planet; therefore you survive off the planet.

Everything you need to be a healthy vibrant being is provided to you from the earth you are standing on. It comes straight out of the soil, and it not only keeps you vibrant and healthy, but it will also rectify any illness from a mental condition to joint pain, to the common cold or flu.

Only you are responsible for your health. Take that responsibility by the horns and make it work for you. You are your best doctor. We tend to run to the doctor every time we are sick as the doctors are able to give us the certainty that we do not have around our health and wellbeing.

When a doctor prescribes a pill to cure an ailment, you need to look at that pill as food. Because anything you put in your mouth is food. So please be conscious of everything you eat, including doctor prescriptions, as they can be the most damaging of all foods.

The second of the three keys to health is COMMUNICATION. We often don’t make the connection of communication and health but if you think about how closely related stress is to communication, you will start to see the connection.

The most common causes of stress often come back to the effectiveness of our communication in any situation.

This is because communication directly relates to all outcomes we experience in our lives; good, bad or neutral. If you are a poor communicator, you may find that achieving certain outcomes can be difficult and stressful.

For some, this may lead to feelings of anger, sadness, anxiety or depression, which is damaging to the physical body. Focusing on improving your effectiveness of communication will help us live with less stress and therefore live a healthier happier life.

Without quality communication skills we are limited to how fulfilling our career can be. Our intimate relationships with our spouse, family and friends have a negative impact when there is little or poor communication, which can lead to emotional stress, which then has a flow-on effect on the body.

The third of the three keys to health is RELATIONSHIPS. This ties in with communication because relationships are the number one reason why someone would feel bad, sad, or unhappy.

Emotions will override everything in our body and when we feel bad about something it is generally because we have upset or hurt someone, or someone has upset or hurt us in some way.

If someone visits a healer, the first question asked is often: How are the relationships in your life and that’s because relationships can be the cause of a breakdown in our health.

Use these three simple keys as a guideline to living the life that you want and deserve and make every day the best day!
