Generational diversity event

FOR the first time in a long time, there are three different generations sharing the workforce – Gen X, Gen Y and Baby Boomers: Same jobs, same bosses, same working conditions, but three different viewpoints on how to approach life at work.

The Ambition Group (Ambition and Accountability) will host a free business breakfast to address the issue of generational diversity to help individuals and businesses understand the importance of working together to maximise results.

Guest speakers will include Raji Ambikairajah, winner of best peer-reviewed paper titled “Leadership through the Eyes of a Young Engineer” and Leisel Cunningham, managing director of the Parramatta Ambition Group office.

Leisel has over 16 years’ experience in the Sydney finance and accounting recruitment sector. The speakers will run through a number of exercises and provide attendees a set of practical tools to use when managing their teams.

If you’re in a leadership role facing the many challenges that managing people brings, this is an event not to be missed as we offer insights into managing different generations to ensure a collaborative work environment.

Details: Date: Thursday, October 18. Time: 7:30am – 9:00am Venue: Sebel, 350 Church Street, Parramatta Registration: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/4330153606#
