Council’s night time economy strategy provides a blueprint to make Penrith residents, now and in the future, feel safe and enjoy the night life.
Council plans to bring 10,000 new residents and add more than 10,000 jobs and 5,000 dwellings to the City Centre by 2031.
“We’re going to link different areas of our City to encourage a more vibrant atmosphere, enhance arcade trade and promote dining in and around the City Centre.
“We’ll improve lighting, footpaths and signage and work with local businesses to support indoor and outdoor activities in spaces big and small. And of course, we’re planning a range of events to bring more life to the heart of the City,” said Mayor, John Thain.
