Results from the latest 2019 Hills Performance Sentiment Index (PSI), an initiative of the Sydney Hills Business Chamber and The Hills Shire Council and designed and executed by McCrindle Research – are now available.
Widening of ,major roads and the opening of the Sydney Metro Norwest are major contributors to the rise in business conmfidence.
Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne said the survey results provided insights into the challenges and opportunities business owners face and how Council can work hand-in-hand with residents and the business community to deliver better economical outcomes for the region.
Mark McCrindle said results from the PSI revealed that business owners felt more connected than ever before thanks to new infrastructure opportunities like the Sydney Metro Northwest.
“While Australia’s national economic performance and tightening regulatory conditions is having an impact, this year’s PSI captures the excitement that surrounds the new Sydney Metro Northwest Businesses are overwhelmingly positive,” Mr McCrindle said.

Chairman of The Sydney Hills Business Chamber Nigel Rayner said he was happy to see that business continues to be strong in the Hills.
