“Our Sydney customer numbers continue to grow and Haigh’s Chocolates was yet to have apresence in theHills,” Mr Haigh said.

“The past few months have been difficult for businesses, especially retailers, around Australiaandwe too have experienced those challenges first-hand. We’re therefore even more delighted to announce this store opening for the future enjoyment of our customers living in this part of Sydney while providing opportunities for local employment.

“And whilst our online sales have grown and continue to remain strong; we are excited to be able to share the Haigh’s Chocolates store experience with more people when we open the doors later this year.

“As the first-choice retail destination in the area Castle Towers was a natural fit for our sixth store.”

Castle Towers Centre Manager, Eddie Paynter said the centre was thrilled to introduce Haigh’s Chocolates to the local Hills community.

“As Australia’s oldest family-owned Chocolate company it feels like welcoming a part of Australian history into our Centre. While the quality of ingredients, skill in the cooking process and diverserange are all world-class, it is actually the customer experience that our Castle Towers community should be most excited about, with taste testing, gift wrapping and personalised attention all part of the service,” he said.

Located on level 3 adjacent to Myer and near Country Road and Seed Heritage, the store will be light and bright and feature quality finishes in jarrah, Tasmanian oak, stone and glass.

The style is in keeping with Haigh’s Chocolates well-established store design and the high-quality customer experience Haigh’s customers have come to expect.
