GWSRR: Leadership: definitions and issues

THE Greater Western Sydney Regional Roundtable (GWSRR) is an initiative of Adjunct Professor Jim Taggart OAM and Western Sydney Business Access (WSBA) that brings together people of influence in the region to discuss and share insights that impact upon the region for the purposes of public education. GWSRRs are held bi-monthly. This GWSRR was held at the Parramatta Parkroyal Hotel in August on the subject of: Leadership: Definitions and Challenges. Following is an edited transcript of this GWSRR. Macquarie needs new roads to match growth

THE 75-square-kilometre Macquarie Park, Australia’s largest high-technology precinct requires substantial new infrastructure including new roads and open space to meet the needs of existing and future residents and workers.

HOLROYD City Mayor Ross Grove has welcomed a proposal from Bathla Investments to open a major centre for sub continental and Australian weddings, receptions, functions and accommodation along the Great Western Highway at Wentworthville.

Christmas completion for Wet’n’Wild

DEVELOPERS of the $115M Wet’n’Wild Sydney water park at Eastern Creek expect the attraction to be trading before Christmas.
